Mileage and fuel: what's included in the tariff

The rental rate includes up to 200 km per day; beyond the limit — a surcharge per kilometer, the amount of which is specified in the contract. For trips around Tashkent, this reserve is enough: from the airport to Tashkent City and back is about 40 km. If you plan a trip to Chimgan (about 80 km one way), plan the mileage in advance. The car is handed over with a full tank, and it must be returned with a full tank — this is specified in the contract. For intercity routes like Samarkand (about 300 km), we recommend clarifying the limit when booking — for such trips we have separate conditions.

Insurance and route support

Every Rent-Trip car is insured, and during the rental period the organization receives 24/7 support. If a technical malfunction occurs on the road, call on Telegram, we resolve the issue: car replacement or towing. The contract specifies areas of responsibility: insurance covers accidental damage, while fines for traffic violations and damage due to violation of operating conditions are on the renter's side. Before delivery, we record the condition of the body and interior in the acceptance certificate to avoid disputes upon return.

Before each rental, the car undergoes an inspection: technical condition, fuel level, cleanliness of the interior and body. We wash the cars before delivery, fill the tank completely, and check the air conditioning — this is critical in Tashkent's heat. Together with the client, we record all features in the acceptance certificate: scratches, chips, interior condition. This protects both parties: you are not responsible for damage that existed before you, and we are not responsible for damage that occurred during the rental.

Chimgan and the Charvak Reservoir are the only mountain destination near Tashkent, about 80 km from the city. The drive takes about an hour and a half, the surface is asphalt, but on the climb to Chimgan there are long turns. For such a trip, the BMW X7 or Lixiang L9 is suitable — all-wheel drive and high ground clearance give confidence on gravel sections near the water. Keep in mind that on weekends many cars go to Charvak — leave earlier to avoid traffic jams on the way out of the city.

Samarkand, Bukhara and other cities of Uzbekistan

For trips to Samarkand (about 300 km) or Bukhara (about 600 km), comfort sedans like the Geely Preface or BYD Chazor are suitable — they are economical on the highway and comfortable for long hauls. Roads in Uzbekistan are of good quality, but on some sections there is repair work — allow extra time. For such routes, clarify the mileage limit when booking: the standard 200 km per day does not cover long trips. We will prepare the car for the long route and check tire pressure.

Travel to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan: what to consider

The border with Kazakhstan passes close to Tashkent, and with Kyrgyzstan — in the Fergana Valley area, so exit to neighboring countries is possible. To cross the border, you need documents for the car — we will prepare them when booking. Note that insurance is valid on the territory of Uzbekistan; for neighboring countries, an extension may be needed — check when ordering.
