Documents and rental rules in Uzbekistan
Renting a car in Uzbekistan is simple if you know the requirements. The short version:
- What documents are needed for rental (passport, driver's license).
- Deposit terms: from 3,000,000 UZS for economy and comfort, from 4,000,000 UZS for SUVs, minivans and commercial vehicles, from 5,000,000 UZS for business, and from 8,000,000 UZS for premium and exclusive models. The deposit is returned within 1–3 business days after returning the car without damage or fines.
- Mileage: up to 200 km per day included in the rate; excess is paid extra, the amount is specified in the contract.
